How Many ?  Stroud 1st XI 25 : 0 Portishead Firebrands 3

Stroud Ladies 1st XI desparately needed to win this game but also had to boost their League goal difference.  Both tagets were easily achieved with the team forcing a somewhat depleted Portishead side into a corner out of which they simply could not escape.
Julie Slater opened the goal feast and more followed from Abbi Powell, Sophie Whittaker and Sarah Cook.  The hosts controlled all aspects of the game - their communication was excellent and the passing immaculate as reflected in the 12:0 half-time score.
There was no escpe for the visitors after the break with the goals pouring in, mainly due to numerous assists from Stroud captain, Karen Cullinane.  The final goal tallies were ...

This was another polished display from Stroud but respect should be given to the Portishead team who never gave up, were extremely gallant in defeat and a pleasure to play against.
